DYEING WATERS

In this project we had to create videos and design an exhibition space in The State of Fashion festival 2018, taking place in Arnhem, Netherlands.

I focused on the fashion industry’s environmental impact with toxic chemicals being dumped into our waterways including rivers, lakes and the sea. This is a major issue that is destroying aquatic life and the life of people who are living around the area, especially around Bangladesh and China.

I created videos to raise awareness of the effects these chemicals have on our environment and letting people know that they can join Greenpeace’s Detox Challenge to convince the textile and fashion industry to stop releasing hazardous chemicals when producing or washing clothes.
